The Coggin College of Business hosts several business centers that facilitate faculty research, support student involvement in high-impact practices, and provide economic, educational, and business data to stakeholders across Northeast Florida.
Local Economic Indicator Project (LEIP)
The Local Economic Indicator Project (LEIP) collects economic and business data from local, state, federal and global sources. These data allow LEIP to analyze price changes, measure inflation, adjust unemployment rates for seasonality, report stock price changes, and produce an index of leading indicators.
The Paper Institute (PAPER)
The Paper and Plastics Education Research (PAPER) Institute's mission is to encourage and support the University of North Florida Coggin College of Business faculty in their research, education, and development endeavors that integrate academic pursuits relevant to the National Paper Trade Alliance (NPTA) and its membership.
Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) assists potential and existing business owners by providing the management advice, training, and information they need to start, grow, and profit. The SBDC at the University of North Florida serves 18 counties from offices in Jacksonville, Gainesville, and Ocala. It is part of the Florida SBDC Network and the national Association of Small Business Development Centers.
Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI)
The Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI) serves the growing entrepreneurial ecosystem in Jacksonville. It is the first equity-free, comprehensive business incubator in the region providing early-stage and startup companies the education, resources, and support critical to their development.
Blackstone LaunchPad
Blackstone LaunchPad develops multi-disciplinary skill sets and provides mentoring services to UNF students as they explore innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship. Blackstone LaunchPad offers events and programming that support building peer and professional networks and prepare students for successful careers.
Crowley Center for Transportation and Logistics
The mission of the Crowley Center for Transportation and Logistics is to be a world leader in transportation and logistics research, education, and industry engagement. The Crowley Center generates highly-trained students ready to analyze and manage the global supply chain.
