Graduate Dual Program Pathways
UNF's Dual Program Pathways allow students the opportunity to earn two complementary master's degrees at once. By sharing up to 12 credit hours between programs, students can integrate knowledge across disciplines and earn two degrees more efficiently than completing them separately.
Admission
Students interested in a Dual Program Pathway must:
- Complete the Graduate Application for whichever dual program you want to designate as your primary program.
- If admitted to the primary program, log in to MyWings to submit an Add a Major request form to apply to the second dual program. Applications submitted through the Add a Major request form are held to the same admission standards as those submitted through the Graduate Application. Admission to one program in a Dual Graduate Degree pairing does not guarantee admission to the second.
- Once admitted to both programs, you're officially enrolled in the dual degree pathway.

Master of Science in Health Informatics (MSHI) / Master of Health Administration (MHA)
The Masters of Health Administration (MHA) / Master of Science in Health Informatics (MSHI) Dual Degree Pathway allows students to earn two complementary graduate degrees that prepare them to lead in an increasingly digital and data-driven healthcare environment. Students gain the management, finance, and leadership competencies of the MHA while developing informatics, data analytics, interoperability, and systems-thinking skills through the MSHI.
Pursing both degrees together provides students with a competitive advantage in roles across healthcare operations, information systems, digital health, quality improvement, population health, and administrative leadership.
The MHA requires 45 credits and the MSHI requires 33 credits for a total of 78 credits when completed separately. The Dual Degree Pathway allows students to complete both degrees with 63 total credits by double-counting 15 credits. The program can be completed in approximately seven semesters.
