certificate: Biotechnology Certificate

Certificate Requirements (14 credits)

Students may earn the certificate in conjunction with a undergraduate degree or as a standalone certificate as a non-degree seeking student. Please see the Undergraduate Certificate Programs page for more information.

The Biotechnology Certificate is available to all UNF Biology students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. BCH4024, BCH4024L and MCB4021C require grades of "B" or above (or passing for BSC3943).

BCH4024 Mol Biol Biochem (3 Credits)
BCH4024L Mol Biol Biochem Lab (1 Credit)
MCB4021C Molecular Biology Techniques (4 Credits)

SELECT EITHER (MINIMUM GRADE B): 
PCB3063 Genetics (3 credits) and PCB3063L Genetics Lab (1 credits)
OR
PCB3023C Molecular and Cell Biology (4 credits)

SELECT 1 FROM THE FOLLOWING:
BSC3943 Internship in Applied Biology (2 credits)
BSC4941 Mayo Clinic Research Internship (2 credits)
