minor: Public Service Leadership

2025-2026

Minor: Public Service Leadership (12 credits)

The Public Service Leadership Minor is available to all UNF undergraduate students. Students learn about the importance of leadership in public service, acquiring the skills and learning the approaches necessary to positively impact their communities and influence public policy. Through experiential learning, students interact directly with government and the nonprofit sector, creating a network of opportunities to gain first-hand experience in the field, build their resumes, and make contacts with stakeholders - keys to future employment and leadership in public service.

A UNF GPA of 3.0 or higher is required for the Public Service Leadership Minor. A grade of C or higher is required in all minor coursework. Transfer credit may not be applied to satisfy minor requirements – all minor coursework must be completed at UNF.

*Students may substitute public service internship/field experience credits from other departments/majors with the permission of the Public Service Leadership Program Director.
