To graduate with a bachelor’s degree from the College of Education and Human Services, you must earn a minimum of 48 upper-level credits out of a minimum 120-degree applicable required credit hours.

SPM3473 Sport Communication Strategies (3 Credits)
SPM3493 Issues in Sport (3 Credits)
SPM4464 Sport Finance (3 Credits)
SPM4476 Sport Law (3 Credits)
SPM3044 Sport Governance (3 Credits)
SPM3104 Sport & Entertainment Facility Management (3 Credits)
SPM3306 Sport Marketing (3 Credits)
SPM4516 Sales & Fundraising in Sport (3 Credits)
SPM4703 Sport Business Analytics (3 Credits)
SPM3948C Sport Management Practicum (3 Credits) 
SPM4113 Management and Leadership in Sport (3 Credits)

Major Elective (3 credits)

Complete one of the following options:
Option 1: STA2023 (GM) Elem Statistics-Business (3 Credits).
If student completed STA2023 previously he/she should select option 2

Option 2: Take one SPM 3000 or 4000 elective course

Concentration Requirements (12 credits)

COMPLETE the following 4 courses:
SPM3703 Sport Performance Analytics (3 Credits) 
SPM4707 Data Visualization in Sport (3 Credits) 
SPM4705 Applied Sport Analytics (3 Credits) 
SPM4931 Special Topics in Sport Analytics (3 Credits) 

Internship Requirements (12 credits)

Complete one of the following:  

  1. SPM4941 Sport Management Internship (12 credits) 
  2. SPM4940 Sport Management Internship II (6 Credits) Students must complete an approved 6-credit hour internship during their last three semesters (summer, spring or fall) AND one of the following:
    1. Repeat SPM4940 SPM Internship II OR
    2. Complete 6 credit hours of 3000/4000 sport management electives (SPM)

48 Upper-Level Hours (48 credits)

To graduate with a Bachelor's degree from the College of Education and Human Services, you must earn a minimum of 48 upper-level credits out of a minimum 120 degree applicable required credit hours.
