  • From December 22, 2025 through January 5, 2026 the University of North Florida is CLOSED. During this time, there will not be mail/package delivery to Osprey Clubhouse or Osprey Fountains mailboxes or Welcome Desks. Normal UNF business operations will resume on January 5, 2026.
  • Spring classes begin Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

SAFETY REMINDERS:

During break periods there is a drastically reduced number of students/staff in and around the campus community. During this time it is especially important to be mindful of basic safety tips to avoid becoming victim to a crime of opportunity.

  1. LOCK YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS
    • In case of an EMERGENCY dial: 911
    • University Police Department NON-EMERGENCY dial: (904) 620-2800
    • Additional Safety Tips are available at REPORT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY: We encourage you to contact the University Police Department any time you see something or someone suspicious. This could include an unfamiliar person loitering around the community, a person "cruising" the parking lot or someone trying to see things door-to-door. The University Police Department is here to respond to your concerns, so please DO NOT hesitate to contact them. The University Police Department would rather check out 100 "false alarms" than miss one incident truly needing attention. https://www.unf.edu/upd/student-safety.html
