Fresh Check Day, the signature program of the Jordan Porco Foundation, is an uplifting mental health fair and suicide prevention event that will focus on providing tools and resources for students to navigate their own mental health as well as support their peers through activities.

FreshCheckDay will be taking place Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. near Candy Cane Lake.

Booth Registration
Celebrate Homecoming with purpose at Fresh Check Day, a vibrant mental health fair happening Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. near Candy Cane Lake. This uplifting event features interactive booths, free food, music and prizes—all designed to promote mental wellness, suicide prevention and bystander intervention. Fresh Check Day fosters a stronger, more supportive campus community by encouraging open conversations and connecting students with valuable resources. Let’s come together to make UNF a place where every Osprey can thrive—because no Osprey flies alone.
Departments and Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) are invited to host a booth and contribute to this impactful initiative, helping to create a caring and connected environment for all. Fresh Check Day is a program that will address some serious topics involving mental health. If you attend the program, please do not feel as if you must converse about any of the topics. The counseling center will be present if anyone needs to talk through what they have experienced.
