- Pets (fish in a 10 gallon tank are permitted)

- Paint (Housing and Residence Life determines if a room is to be painted)
- Drapes and Tapestries (They do not meet State Fire Code Requirements)

- Lofts/Cinder Blocks (bed is adjustable)

- Alcohol and other drug related items (including cans, bottles, empty or full, posters, light boxes)
- Fabric, metal, paper or other wall hangings that cover over 30% of any wall
- Weapons of any kind (including decorative items, knives, martial arts items, paintball guns, air guns, bb guns, bow and arrows, swords)
- Explosives (including firecrackers)
