Gabriela joined the UNF Housing and Residence Life team originally from 2015-2017 and then again in 2020. Gabriela earned her undergraduate degree in social work from UNF (swoop!) and her MSW from UCF. She has worked with various populations such as foster care youth, military personnel and veterans, and more. She greatly appreciates the opportunities that arise where she can apply her social work skills and knowledge to the Housing and Residence Life field.

In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts and festivals, visiting arts and farmers markets, reading, playing board games, seeing musicals and theatre productions, trying new food spots, and having themed get-togethers and murder mystery parties with her friends.

Gabriela manages our room change process and works with students seeking ESA accommodation.
