The University of North Florida's Department of Housing and Residence Life does not assume financial responsibility for the personal property of residents or for unintended damages done to the university. The University of North Florida's Department of Housing and Residence Life has partnered with GradGuard, which offers renters insurance that has protected over 1.7 million members. If your laptop gets damaged or stolen, how would you replace it? Do you have a plan the unexpected?

Residents are encouraged to review any associated family homeowner's insurance policy, if any, to
determine applicability of coverage for personal property in on-campus housing or to carry Resident's own renter's insurance at all times.
