Miguel is new to UNF Housing & Residence Life! He received his Bachelor of Science in Sports & Exercise Science from West Texas A&M University (WT) and his Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). Miguel's previous involvements include Residence Hall Association (RHA), Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, Student Government, and Volunteer Services Department. At different points in his career, Miguel has worked for various non-profit organizations, such as the YMCA and Break Away. Miguel also volunteers with Toastmasters International. His hobbies include kickboxing, playing video games, as well as watching YouTube videos; he describes himself as a Marvel “nerd” and plans on doing deep dives into different superheroes and examine their leadership styles for a future podcast series.

Erika graduated with her Bachelor of Business Administration with minors marketing and leadership here at UNF. Erika is perusing her Masters’ degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance at UNF. She has worked previously as a Learning Community Assistant for two years at UNF. Erika has traveled to several different countries including Germany, Switzerland and Italy. Along with traveling she enjoys baking and crocheting.

Darius joined the team in 2021 and oversees the Osprey Crossings community. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in Legal Studies from The University of West Florida (UWF) in 2015. Darius received his Master's of Education in Higher Education Leadership From Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in 2019. Darius arrives at UNF after serving as the Coordinator for Student Org Management at James Madison University (JMU). In his spare time, Darius enjoys professional sporting events, playing basketball, watching movies and reading.

Abby received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training with minors in dance and kinesiology from Kansas State University in May 2020. She is studying to earn a Master of Science in Psychological Sciences while at UNF. Her previous roles include serving as an RA in K-State's apartment complex, Project Manager of recruitment efforts for the Department of Grain Science and Industry, Social Media Manager and once upon a time- food cart attendant at an amusement park in San Diego. Abby loves unique foods (like marionberry goat cheese habanero ice cream) wine, coffee, cooking/baking and travel. In her free time she enjoys being active-unless it means running or lifting weights.

Destiny received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Human Resources, American Sign Language, and Leadership from UNF. Destiny will be pursuing her Master's degree in Management. Some of Destiny's previous experiences include working with the City of Jacksonville's Employee Services team, being a Shift Supervisor for Starbucks, a Distance Learning Coach for UNF Graduate courses and an LCA/RA for UNF Housing. Destiny has studied abroad to Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, and Peru.

Bri received her Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Studies from Florida Gulf Coast University. She received her Master of Education in Higher Education Leadership and Policy from the University of Texas at Austin. As a student, Bri was involved with Residence Hall Association (RHA), Area Council and Residential Conduct Committee. Bri’s experiences in Housing and Residence Life (HRL) inspired her to pursue her master’s degree in Higher Education and return to HRL after graduation. Bri is passionate about student leadership, student involvement and loves working with first-generation students. In her free time, Bri enjoys reading, writing, going to the beach and spending time outside.

Mesody is a UNF Alumni and a returner to the UNF Housing & Residence Life! Mesody graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health, Health Sciences with a double minor in Health Education and Psychology. Some of Mesody’s previous experience includes working for the UNF Annual Giving Call Center as a Student Supervisor, the UNF Housing and Residence Life as a Resident Assistant, the Brooks Rehabilitation Brain Injury Clubhouse as a Public Health Student Intern and The Carousel School as a Preschool Teacher Assistant in her hometown of Maracaibo, Venezuela. In her free time, Mesody enjoys reading, watching movies as well as hours long YouTube video essays; the longer the video, the better! Mesody also enjoys hanging out with her friends, going to the beach, listening to music and exploring new places.

Matt is new to the University of North Florida but not new to the state of Florida! Raised in Tampa, Matt is a huge Bucs, Bolts and Rays fan! Matt received his Bachelors in History and Interdisciplinary Social Studies at James Madison University and received his Masters of Education from Angelo State University. Matt's previous work experience includes working at Kings Dominion, James Madison University, IMG Academy and Fredericksburg City Schools. Matt was a former Varsity Cheerleader at JMU and played Hockey for 10 years - you likely won't find a louder voice at any UNF sporting event! Go Dukes, Go Bolts and most importantly GO OSPREYS!

Jeremy went to La Roche University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He studied Communications Media and Technology with a minor in Graphic Design. He was an RA in undergrad and did many miscellaneous jobs all over campus. He was known as a jack of all trades both as a student and as an employee. Over the past year he started his Masters in HR, that he would love to eventually continue. Photography is one of many hobbies, along with radio production/podcasting.

Ezra graduated from the University of Florida with dual degrees in Spanish and International Studies, with a regional concentration in African Studies. Prior to arriving at UNF, Ezra has worked as a Resident Coordinator in Yellowstone National Park, a Spanish teacher in Gainesville, FL, and, once, as an upscale chocolate consultant. Ezra loves to travel, and spent three semesters abroad during his undergraduate studies. In his free time, Ezra loves to read, cook, or do anything outdoors that involves the water.

Sheresa joined UNF in Fall 2017 and supports the Living-Learning Communities and Educational Initiatives programs in Residence Life. Sheresa attended The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) where she earned a Masters in Higher Education in May 2017 and a Bachelors in Human Development in 2015. As a student, Sheresa was involved as a Resident Advisor, Orientation Leader, a member of NRHH, a sister of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority and a Housing Desk Assistant. In her spare time, Sheresa enjoys being with her husband, watching Food Network, reading, and discovering local restaurants and activities. As the RLC for Educational Initiatives, she is excited to bridge the gap between learning inside and outside the classroom through the support of our residential learning opportunities.

Isaiah is from a small city called Mulberry, FL. Which is just south of Lakeland, FL. He graduated spring 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a minor in Leadership and Business Management. He was an intern at the Office of the Public Defender of the 4th Judicial Circuit, as well as a Resident Assistant of Osprey Cove. Previous to that, during the pandemic, he also worked as an intervention substitute at Mulberry Senior High School. There he served as a mentor for kids who had academic, attendance and behavioral issues. During his undergraduate years at UNF, he served as Vice President of the Criminology and Criminal Justice Club, a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, a member of the Pi Omega Chapter of the Alpha Phi Sigma Criminal Justice Honor Society, a member of the Spanish Club, Active Minds Club and a founding member of the UNF Brotherhood. Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Science in Criminal Justice (MSCJ). He loves fitness, reading, nature and people. He also have a passion for photography and videography and through that, started a small business. He looks forward to making an impact and serving the UNF community.
