Undergraduate

Scholarship Title Eligibility
Advent Software Scholarship in Business
  • Must be enrolled as a senior in the Coggin College of Business at the time funds are awarded
  • Declare a major in finance or economics
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student (at least 12 credit hours per semester)
  • Must earn and maintain a UNF GPA of at least a 3.0
  • Be an active member of a student club or society such as Osprey Financial Group, Economics Society, Financial Planning Association or the Finance and Investment Society. 
Amy S. and Mark P. Vitner Scholarship
  • Meet admission requirements and be accepted by the University of North Florida
  • Declare a major in the Coggin College of Business
  • Enroll Full-Time with a t least 12 semester hours each semester
  • Maintain a GPA of at least 3.0
AXA Advisors Annual Business Scholarship
  • Meet admission requirements and be accepted by the University of North Florida
  • Be enrolled in the Coggin College as a Junior or Senior at the time the scholarship funds are awarded
  • Enroll Full-Time with at least 12 semester hours each semester
  • Maintain a GPA of at least 3.0
  • Preference will be given to members of the Finance & Investment Society, Osprey Financial Group or students in Free Enterprise (SIFE)
CIT Group, Inc. Business Scholarship
  • Meet admission requirements and be accepted by the University of North Florida
  • Reside in Florida for tuition purposes
  • Enroll Full-Time with at least 12 semester hours each semester
  • Declare a major in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Financial Services, International Business or Management
  • Maintain a GPA of at least 3.0
  • Be selected by a committee chosen by the Dean of the College/Unit
David A. Smith & PSS World Medical Inc. Endowed Business Scholarship
  • Student must be enrolled full time (minimum 12 credit hours per semester) with 24 credit hours each academic year
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative 3.2 GPA for the junior and senior years
  • Enroll in and successfully complete one business ethics course prior to graduation
  • Demonstrate a commitment to community service

FIS Foundation Scholarship
  • Meet admission requirements and be accepted to the University of North Florida
  • Reside in Florida for tuition purposes
  • Earn a minimum UNF GPA of at least 3.0

  • Earn a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
  • Enrolled as a rising junior or senior at the time funds are awarded

Gate Petroleum Entrepreneurial Endowed Scholarship
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
  • Be a member of UNF Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) or participate in any future entrepreneurial program established in the Coggin College of Business
  • Must enroll full time (12 Credit Hours) each semester and earn a minimum of 24 credits by the end of each academic year. 
Henry W. Hoogeveen "Cornerstone" Merit and Service Scholarship
  • Meet admissions requirements and be accepted to the University of North Florida
  • Be enrolled as a full-time student with a minimum of 12 hours per semester
  • Achieve a minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Declare a major in the Coggin College of Business
  • Preference given to students dedicated to volunteering and serving others
  • Preference given to qualifying applicants who either personally serve(d) in the United States Military or whose parents and/or spouse serve(d)
James Kufeldt Memorial Endowed Scholarship
  • Earn a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 3.2
  • Major in Management or Marketing
  • Must reside in Florida for tuition purposes
  • Must enroll full time (12 credit hours per semester) each semester with a minimum of 24 credits per academic year
Joseph and Janet Nicosia Endowed Scholarship in Leadership
  • Student must be enrolled full time (minimum 12 credit hours per semester) and have earned a minimum of 24 credits by the end of each academic year
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25
  • Meet annually with donor for leadership mentoring
  • Must be enrolled as a junior or senior at the time funds are awarded
Joshi Family Scholarship
  • Declare a major in the Coggin College of Business
  • Enroll as a full-time student (12 credit hours per semester) with at least 24 credits by the end of each academic year
  • Must maintain a UNF transfer or a UNF GPA of at least a 3.3
LandMar Group, LLC Endowed Scholarship
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25
  • Must be enrolled as a junior or senior at the time funds are awarded
  • Must enroll full-time (12 credit hours) each semester and earn a minimum of 24 credits by the end of each academic year
Lu Ann and Doran Weinstein Memorial Scholarships in Business
  • Meet admission requirements and be accepted by the University of North Florida.
  • Reside in Florida for tuition purposes
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  • Demonstrate financial need as defined by the Office of Financial Aide.
  • Declare a major in the Coggin College of Business.

Mark and Eryn Dawkins Endowed Scholarship
  • Earn a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Declare a major in the Coggin College of Business
  • Be a member of one of the following student clubs: Black Student Union (BSU), Latin American Student Organization (LASO), Rasine Kreyol (R.K.), National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), Association of Latino Professionals for America (ALPFA)
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Demonstrate financial need as defined by the University’s Office of Financial Aid
Mike and Shannon Italia Community Service Endowed Scholarship
  • Meet admissions requirements and be accepted to the University of North Florida 
  • Earn a minimum GPA of at least 3.0
  • Declare a major in business
  • Be enrolled in the Coggin College of Business as a junior or senior at the time the scholarship funds are awarded
  • First preference will be given to Women in Business Society officers, second preference to those who demonstrate a commitment to community service, and third preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate the greatest financial need as defined by the University’s Office of Financial Aid
  • If selected based on financial need, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
PNC Business Scholarship
  • Meet admission requirements and be accepted by the University of North Florida
  • Reside in Florida for tuition purposes
  • Enroll full-time with at least 12 semester hours in the Fall and Spring semesters
  • Declare a major in marketing, management, financial planning, accounting, economics, or finance
  • Have a GPA of at least 3.0

Society of Financial Service Professionals – Robert J. Isham Scholarship
  • Student must be enrolled full time (minimum 12 credit hours per semester)
  • Enrolled as a Junior or Senior
  • Maintain a minimum UNF GPA of at least a 3.2

Ted R. Allaire Memorial Endowed Scholarship
  • Preference given to a past Dreams Come True of Jacksonville, Inc. recipient
  • Reside in Florida
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and file a form each year
  • Must have a UNF recalculated high school GPA of at least 3.0 or a transfer GPA of 2.5
  • Enroll as a full-time student (12 credit hours per semester) 24 credits per academic year
  • Maintain a UNF GPA of at least a 2.5
The Zimmerman Family Foundation Scholarship
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
  • Earned a grade of “B” or better in all Coggin College prerequisite courses – including a GPA of at least 3.0 in the semester prior to admission
  • Graduated from high school located within the four counties of Northeast Florida (Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns)
  • Must be enrolled as a junior or senior at the time funds are awarded
  • Must enroll full-time (12 credit hours) each semester and earn a minimum of 24 credits by the end of each academic year
TOTE Maritime Puerto Rico Endowed Scholarship
  • Student must be enrolled full time (minimum 12 credit hours per semester) 
  • Declare a major in Transportation & Logistics, International Business, Business Administration and/or Marketing
  • Earn a UNF GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Preference is given to students who have completed or are participating in a Coggin College approved Transportation & Logistics internship 
Van Law Endowed Scholarship
  • Declare a major in the Coggin College of Business
  • Be a junior or senior at time of the award
  • Reside in Florida
  • Enroll as a full-time student (12 credit hours per semester)
  • Maintain a GPA of at least a 3.0
Vestcor Companies Scholarship
  • Meet admission requirements and be accepted by the University of North Florida
  • Enroll full-time with at least 12 semester hours in the Fall and Spring semesters
  • Declare a major in Marketing, Management, Accounting, or Finance
  • Maintain a GPA of at least 3.0
WRH Realty Business Scholarship
  • Meet admission requirements and be accepted by the University of North Florida

Accounting

Accounting Principals Endowed Scholarship
  • Be admitted as a junior in the accounting program in the Coggin College of Business,
  • Earn a minimum overall (both transfer and UNF) GPA of at least 3.2,
  • Enroll full-time (12 credit hours) each semester and earn a minimum  of 24 credit hours by the end of the academic year, and
  • Preference given to students from Duval County, Florida
Addison Accounting Scholarship
  • Meet admission requirements and be accepted by the University of North Florida
  • Enroll full-time with at least 12 semester hours in the Fall and Spring semesters
  • Declare a major in Accounting
  • Maintain a GPA of at least 3.0
  • Be a first generation student
Dixon Hughes Goodman Accounting Endowed Scholarship
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2
  • Declare an undergraduate major in Accounting
  • Plan to pursue a career in public accounting in Jacksonville
  • Must agree to be a member of Alpha Sigma Pi
  • Must be a junior or senior at the time the funds are awarded
  • Must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every year
  • Must enroll in one business ethics course before graduating

Ennis, Pellum & Associates Scholarship
  • Meet admission requirements and be accepted to the University of North Florida
  • Have a GPA of at least 3.0
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities through student club involvement, volunteering activities, and/or employment while enrolled at UNF
  • Declare a major in accounting and be a junior or senior, or
    • Be enrolled in postbaccalaureate accounting classes in the Coggin College of Business
Osprey Accounting Endowed Scholarship
  • Meet admissions requirements and be accepted to the University of North Florida
  • Reside in Florida for tuition purposes
  • Have a UNF cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
  • Declare a major in Accounting
  • Be enrolled as a junior or senior at the time the funds are awarded
  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
  • Demonstrate financial need as defined by the University's Office of Financial Aid
  • Enroll full-time (12 credit hours) each semester and earn a minimum of 24 credits by the end of each academic year
Solomon H. and Audrey L. Jones Scholarship in Accounting The donor has determined that eligible students must:
  • Meet admission requirements and be accepted by the University of North Florida
  • Enroll full-time with at least 12 hours each semester
  • Have graduated high school from a Duval county public school
  • Declare a major in Accounting
  • Maintain a UNF GPA of at least 2.7
  • Be selected by a committee chosen by the Dean of the Coggin College of Business
  • Preference given to members of UNF's National Association for Black Accountants (NABA), a registered student organization
The Parts House Scholarship

Eligible students must:

  • Meet admission requirements and be accepted by the University of North Florida
  • Enroll full-time with at least 12 hours each semester
  • Declare a major in either transportation & logistics or accounting
  • Maintain a GPA of at least 3.2
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities through student club involvement, volunteering activities, and/or employment
  • Preference given to students who are completing or who have completed an internship at The Parts House
  • Be selected by a committee chosen by the Dean of the Coggin College of Business

Theresa Johnson Spirit Scholarship
  • Preference given to members of the Women in Business Society who demonstrate a spirit of persistence and leadership 
  • Preference given to students who demonstrate financial need 
  • Declare a major in Finance or Financial Services 
  • Must enroll full-time with at least 12 semester hours each semester 
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 

International Business

Ann M Traynham Endowed Scholarship in International Business
  • Meet admissions requirements and be accepted to the University of North Florida
  • Earn a minimum UNF recalculated high school GPA of at least 3.0
  • Declare an interest in majoring in International Business as a Freshman or Sophomore or major in International Business as a Junior or Senior
  • Enroll full-time (12 credit hours) each semester and earn a minimum of 24 credits by the end of each academic year
  • Maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 for the freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior years
BBVA Compass Scholarship
  • Earn a minimum GPA of 3.5

Transportation and Logistics

Intermodal Association of North America (IANA)
  • Declare a major in Transportation and Logistics
  • Must be enrolled as a junior or senior at the time he scholarship funds are awarded
  • Maintain a minimum GPA (both as a transfer and as a UNF student) of at least 3.0
  • Enroll in at least 9 credit hours each semester and earn a minimum of 18 credit hours by the end of the academic year
  • Preference is given to those who have experience in working with the intermodal transportation services industry, and who plan to work in the intermodal services industry upon graduation.
JAXPORT Scholarship
  • Meet admission requirements and be accepted by the University of North Florida
  • Reside in Florida for tuition purposes
  • Enroll full-time with at least 12 semester hours each semester
  • Be enrolled in Coggin College as a junior or senior at the time the scholarship funds are awarded

Transportation Club of Jacksonville

  • Attend one Fall and one Spring Transportation Club monthly board meeting to deliver a presentation on an area of transportation and logistics of the awardee's choosing

  • Enroll full-time (6-credit hours) each semester and earn a minimum of 12 credit hours by the end of each academic year
Blanche & Luther Coggin Fellowship
  • Must be admitted as a degree-seeking graduate student (MBA, MAcc, and MsM)
  • Earn a minimum GPA of 3.5
  • Must be enrolled full time (9 credit hours) and earn a minimum of 18 credits per academic year
Ennis Pellum CPAs MAcc Scholarship
  • Admitted to the Master of Accounting (MAcc) graduate program
  • Earned a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Be enrolled in at least two graduate classes (6 credit hours per semester) 
Graduate Programs in Business Fellowship
  • Enrolled as a degree-seeking graduate student (MBA, MAcc, MsM, GlobalMBA, Ibero-AmericanMBA, Global EntrepreneurshipMBA)
  • Earn a minimum GPA of 3.0 in an undergraduate degree program and maintain a minimum cumulative UNF GPA of 3.0 in their undergraduate studies and maintain a minimum cumulative UNF GPA of 3.5 in their graduate studies
  • Score a minimum of 500 on the GMAT
  • Be enrolled full-time as a graduate student (9 credit hours per semester)
Jack & Mary Lambert Endowed Graduate Fellowship in Logistics
  • Pursue an MBA degree with declared concentration in Transportation & Logistics
  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.67
  • Must be enrolled full-time (9 credit hours) each semester and earn a minimum of 18 credits per academic year.
John Montgomery II National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) Conference Annual Scholarship
  • Meet admission requirements and be accepted by the University of North Florida
  • Reside in Florida for tuition purposes
  • Be a MBA candidate (Preference of a second year MBA student)
  • Maintain a GPA of at least 3.2
  • Submit an essay of 500 words or less on what the NBMBAA mission means to you and how you intend on giving back to the community after graduation
  • Be selected by a committee chosen by the Dean of the Coggin College of Business
  • Be an underrepresented minority with preference given to Black/African American students
Lowell M. Salter Graduate Fellowship in Entrepreneurial Studies
  • Must be admitted into a graduate program within the Coggin College of Business

  • Serve an internship in the Small Business Development Center while pursuing a graduate degree at UNF

  • Meet admission requirement and be accepted to the University of North Florida
  • Major in logistics and register for study abroad experience or major in business and register for logistics-related study abroad experience
Cascone Family Study Abroad Scholarship
  • Must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in the Coggin College of Business
  • Must be enrolled in 9 credit hours per semester and earn a minimum of 18 credits per academic year
  • Must major or minor in business or foreign language
  • Must earn a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA
  • Preference given to students double majoring or minoring in a foreign language
  • Must participate in a Coggin Semester Exchange Program prior to Final semester at UNF

Edward A. and Beryl A. Johnson Study Abroad Business Endowed Scholarship

  • Must be enrolled as a junior or senior student in the Coggin College of Business
  • Must earn a minimum 3.2 GPA
  • Must be enrolled in 12 credit hours per semester and earn a minimum of 24 credits per academic year
  • Must participate in a Coggin Study Abroad program prior to final semester at UNF
  • Preference given to students who have been accepted into the UNF Honors Program. 
  • Additional requirements: 
    • Submit a brief personal statement describing the applicant’s goals for the study abroad experience and how the applicant intends this experience will broaden his/her campus studies and post-baccalaureate goals
    • Submit a letter from a UNF faculty member that endorses the applicant’s proposed travel plan
James Van Vleck International Endowed Scholarship (#5153)
  • Must reside in Florida for tuition purposes
  • Must earn a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Must be enrolled as an undergraduate student in the Coggin College of Business
  • Must be enrolled in 12 credit hours per semester and earn a minimum of 24 credits per academic year
  • Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 for junior and senior years
  • Must participate in a Coggin Semester Exchange Program

  • Must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in the Coggin College of Business
  • Must be in good standing
  • Must participate in a Coggin Semester Exchange Program

  • Must be enrolled as a junior or senior student in the Coggin College of Business at the time of the award
  • Must be enrolled in 12 credit hours per semester and earn a minimum of 24 credits per academic year
  • Must earn a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Must participate in a Coggin Study Abroad Program to China prior to final semester at UNF

Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) Educational Foundation Scholarships
The Hugh Van Seaton Memorial Scholarship from Financial Executives International (FEI) Northern Florida Chapter
  • Must be enrolled as an undergraduate, degree-seeking student majoring in business—preferably finance or accounting, at the University of North Florida during the Spring 2023 semester.
  • Applicants must be full-time students (enrolled for 12 credit hours) during the Spring 2023 semester.
  • Must have completed at least 60 semester hours at the end of Fall 2022 semester.
  • Must be a citizen of the United States or hold permanent residency status.
  • Must have a minimum institutional UNF GPA of at least 3.0
  • The granting of scholarship(s) is at the sole discretion of the Northern Florida Chapter of FEI, and shall be on a basis of educational achievement, financial need, and demonstrated professional, social, and charitable activities, and a short essay
  • Applications are to be submitted to Alice Davies in the Office of the Chairman of the Accounting Department
  • Scholarship Deadline is February 28th, 2023.
