You’re Closer to an MBA Than You Think
Most applicants qualify for admission, and many do not need a GMAT or GRE.
Here’s exactly what you need to get started:
MBA Admission Requirements — At a Glance
You will qualify for the UNF MBA if you:- Hold a bachelor’s degree
- Have a 3.0+ overall GPA,
- and you meet one of our GMAT/GRE waiver options.
Most decisions are made within 1–2 weeks.
GMAT/GRE Not Required (Most Applicants)
You do not need a GMAT or GRE score if you meet both of the following:
- A 3.0 or higher overall undergraduate GPA
- ONE of the following:
- Undergraduate business degree from any institution
- Master’s degree or higher
- 2+ years of full-time professional experience

When Is the GMAT/GRE Required?
Most applicants qualify for a waiver based on academic performance, work experience, or prior degrees.
You must submit a GMAT or GRE score if:
-
Your overall undergraduate GPA is below 3.0, OR
-
You have a 3.0+ GPA but do not have 2+ years of Professional work experience.
If a GMAT/GRE is required, you will need to meet the program’s minimum Index Score, which combines your GPA + test score.
(You do not need to calculate this—we will notify you if it applies.)
Index Score (Only required if submitting GMAT or GRE)
- GMAT: GMAT score + (200 × GPA) ≥ 1070
- GRE: GRE score + (200 x GPA) ≥ 900
Example: A 2.8 GPA + GMAT 510 meets the requirement.
