2024 Audition Dates

All of our 2024 audition dates have now passed. Please check back in the fall to view our dates for 2025.

Important things to remember:

  • Apply to UNF as early as possible in the fall of your senior year of high school. UNF offers academic scholarships based on GPA and test scores, but you must apply by the November deadline to be eligible.
  • Acceptance into the UNF School of Music is different from acceptance into UNF. To be accepted, you must complete and submit the Supplemental School of Music Application Form that is attached to your general UNF application, and complete an audition. The Supplemental School of Music Application Form will allow you to schedule your audition.
  • General audition requirements are listed on our website. If you would like specific audition advice, please contact the professor who teaches your applied instrument.
  • Students can schedule an appointment with UNF Admissions to take a campus tour. To tour the School of Music building, you can schedule an appointment with the faculty member who teaches your applied instrument. Some faculty members may be available to give a complementary lesson during your visit.
  • UNF School of Music consists of highly talented and motivated students learning in a focused, intimate environment. Acceptance to the department is based on incoming students' ability to meet expectations for enrollment and availability for new students in teaching studios.
