Welcome to the School of Communication
The School of Communication is dedicated to the creation and dissemination of knowledge about human and mass-mediated communication processes through high-quality teaching, scholarship, and service to the community. Our communication program is accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications.
Undergraduate Programs
We offer a B.S. in Communication, with concentrations in advertising, digital video production, multimedia journalism, and public relations. Our B.A. in Communication Studies focuses on organizational and mediated communication. Our minors include mass communication, communication studies, political campaigns, and social media.
Graduate Program
Our M.S. in Communication Management focuses on leadership and management in the communication field. This professional master's degree allows you to customize your program of study by offering a choice of five concentrations: business, leadership, non-profit management, public management, and public health.
Student Clubs and Mentoring
Our student organizations include the Ad Club, Multimedia Club, and PRSSA. We also have a mentorship program that connects students with communication professionals.
Internship Experiences and Job Fair
We assist students with their career goals through our internship program at local and national communication companies and our annual Internship + Job Fair.

Our faculty combine professional experience with advanced degrees, we offer students community-based learning opportunities, and our professional advisory board helps keep our curriculum current.
