Student Accessibility Center
The Student Accessibility Center (SAC) promotes and facilitates partnerships among UNF students with disabilities and the UNF community. Registration and services are voluntary, confidential, and free of charge to all UNF students with documented disabilities.

The UNF Counseling Center provides students with a variety of services ranging from individual and group counseling to self-help resources and services specific for online (distance) learners.

Dean of Students
The Dean of Students focuses on care services, student conduct, academic integrity, conflict resolution, advocacy, and intentional educational engagement to promote and encourage well-being, accountability, prevention, and holistic student development. Student Ombudsman
The Office of the Student Ombuds provides all UNF students with a safe, confidential place to bring questions and concerns about University rules, policies, or procedures. The Ombuds assists students by considering all sides of an issue in an impartial and objective way, and then advises on how to best resolve the problems.

Tech Resources
Information Technology Services assist with classroom technology, audio/visual services, network connectivity, software applications, operating systems, university-owned computer hardware and peripherals, password resets, and setting up network clients. Course Delivery
Courses are delivered in various modalities, from completely online to blended formats that include in-person and online experiences.

Online Accelerated Terms
Online accelerated-term programs are fully online programs containing distance learning courses offered in a format that is shorter than the standard course length. Courses carry the same rigor and expectations as courses taught in a full-length term.

Distance Learning students enrolled in online classes and online programs should refer to the Academic Calendar for important registration and financial deadlines.

Online Osprey Orientation
The Online Osprey Orientation provides students in fully and primarily online programs with resources and support tailored to online learners. It is available through Canvas, is self-paced, and is available for students to revisit throughout their time at UNF.

Introduction to Online Learning
The Student Online Learning Orientation (SOLO) is an introduction to online learning that addresses effective online learning and strategies and provides tips for using Canvas. SOLO highlights services and resources to support your journey as an online learner. All students registered for an online course at UNF are encouraged to complete SOLO.

Degree Works
Degree Works organizes a student’s coursework in an easy-to-read report (degree audit) summarizing completed and missing requirements for a degree, as defined in the University of North Florida catalog. It is a web-based advising and degree-planning tool for enrolled students through their myWings account.

Student Health Services
Student Health Services comprises three areas—the Student Health Clinic, Medical Compliance, and Outreach and Education Programs. Together, the three divisions work to provide acute and preventative care services, oversee immunization compliance and student health insurance programs, and offer outreach and educational programs for the UNF and Jacksonville community.
