  • Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Development, BAE

    The Early Childhood Development concentration is an online non-licensure program leading to a bachelor's degree. The program prepares students for professions that work with young children, pre-k-grade 3 as paraprofessionals, and early learning organizations or settings such as Voluntary Preschool or Head Start. Coursework accommodates students working toward a child life specialist credential or careers in psychology, criminal justice, early childhood policy, and non-profit. Graduates may opt to complete coursework to meet the alternative teacher certification requirements for Florida’s Prekindergarten Primary teaching credential.

  • Nutrition and Dietetics: Didactic Program in Dietetics, BS
    The Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics: Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) is a rigorous science-based program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND), the accrediting body of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. This program is designed for students to pursue the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential and earn a Verification Statement required to complete a dietetic internship. All upper-level coursework can be completed entirely online.

    The Master’s in Nursing Education prepares nurses with the teaching and research skills necessary to effectively lead students, clinical staff, and patients in various settings. The curriculum integrates core graduate level concepts such as patient safety and research with advanced clinical concepts and evidence‐based pedagogy to prepare nurses for roles in education within the community, college settings or healthcare agencies.     The Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics: Integrated Grad Program is a cohort program designed for students who have a non-nutrition related undergraduate degree and can be completed in twenty months. Students will participate in online didactic coursework with 1,000 hours of onsite supervised experiential learning in a competency-based curriculum that can be completed in the student’s city of residence. The curriculum prepares students to take the Commission on Dietetic Registration (DCR) credentialing examination to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
