Federal privacy laws prohibit university employees from releasing any past or current financial aid information by phone or through unsecured email. Important FERPA Notice for Parents/Guardians/Advocates: Privacy rights afforded under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) change significantly once a student enters a post-secondary institution. The laws that give parents access to and control over a child’s education records transfer ownership of records to the student. This means that our One-Stop Coordinators are limited in the information they can provide to individuals other than the student. If you need to discuss any account-specific or detailed account information with us, we recommend that the student be present in the conversation. Parents are also strongly encouraged to contact their student regarding an education record first. Education record information is only shared with the student and may not be shared with the parent, except in the following circumstances:

  1. The student elects to give parent access through the Parent Portal
  2. The requested information is considered public directory information, and the student has allowed disclosure.

Need to submit a document?

Most documents can be submitted online through the MyWings Document Upload portal. If you need to deliver a hard-copy of a document, physical dropboxes are available in the Undergraduate Advising office and in Hick’s Hall near the One-Stop entrance. One-Stop Appointments

In-Person Flex Appointment

Flex Appointments are in-person, same-day visits to our office location in Hicks Hall, Building 53, Suite 1700. Photo ID required for each visit. For the safety of our campus community, face coverings are highly encouraged, and lobby access is limited to students and one family member. Seating is available in the Hicks Hall vending area (south wing, 1st floor). Once summoned, a One-Stop Coordinator will meet you at the door for your appointment.

Zoom Appointment

Virtual visits are available by appointment and can be scheduled up to 2 weeks in advance. Appointments may fill up quickly during our high traffic seasons (e.g., add/drop season, fall/spring registration), so booking early is encouraged. A Zoom invitation will be sent to your UNF email and booking email within 24 hours of your appointment start time.
