Hochschule Bremen's (HSB) International Summer School Programme is an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students to study in Germany. It offers students a unique experience by attending courses at the HSB, participating in international student life, discovering Bremen, and exploring Europe. Travel Dates

Note: Students must arrive the weekend before classes begin 

Additional Meeting Dates Preparatory meetings prior to travel are required as part of Coggin summer programs. Topics discussed include safety, cultural adaptation, program expectations, flight/logistical arrangements, and scholarship opportunities. Mark your calendar for the following mandatory meetings:
  1. Friday, March 5, 9 AM-12 PM
  2. Friday, April 2, 9 AM-12 PM
  3. TBD, August/September 2027 (Re-entry meeting)
 
 Subjects

Students complete a total of 6 transfer credits while abroad by selecting two of the following 3-credit courses. The courses below are from 2026; 2027 courses will be updated later in the fall.

  • Principles of Management = UNF MAN3025 Principles of Management
  • International Business = UNF 3000-level GEB elective
  • Moneyball - Business Models in Sport = UNF 3000-level GEB elective
  • Managerial Accounting = UNF ACG2071 Principles of Managerial Accounting (prereqs = ACG2021 and MAC1105)
Prerequisite(s)   Undergraduate standing in the Coggin College of Business; course prerequisites listed above

Participants Up to 10 UNF undergraduate students who meet the above prerequisites

Cost Students pay all costs (excluding UNF tuition) directly to HS Bremen, hotels, airlines, etc. It is estimated that these costs will equal approximately $3,030 (as of 2026).
  • $269 (230 Euros) - Program fee paid to HS Bremen, which includes
    • Guided city tour
    • Welcome evening
    • Bremen discovery tour
    • One-day excursion to Hamburg with city tour and time for shopping
    • Summer evening event
    • Tour to Bremen Beck's Brewery
    • Farewell evening
  • $1,000 - Lodging
  • $1,300 - Round trip airfare
  • $23 - ETIAS
  • $45 - International health insurance for the program dates
  • $60 - Liability insurance
  • $308 - Local transportation
  • $351 - Food
The cost estimate does not include 6 credits of UNF summer tuition/fees and any personal travel and souvenirs.
