Swisher Growth Cohort for Underrepresented Entrepreneurs


Swisher International and the University of North Florida’s Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation have joined forces to create the Swisher Growth Cohort for Underrepresented Entrepreneurs. This is a free 8-week program designed for early stage companies that are generating revenue looking to take their business to the next level! 


With expert speakers, workshops and hands-on mentors, participants will improve their business knowledge and plans.

The top pitches at the conclusion of the program will be awarded prize money! 

Application Opens: July 12, 2021
Applications Close: August 8, 2021
8 week classes begin: August 23, 2021

Swisher Start-Up for Underrepresented Entrepreneurs February 10, 2021- April 7, 2021 (Concluded) 


Twenty companies learned the basics of creating a business through interactive virtual sessions with faculty from the Coggin College of Business, engagement with mentors, and introductions to community resources. The 8 week session concluded with a pitch competition for prize money: 1st- $2500, 2nd- $1500, 3rd- $1000.
