New Student Orientation - Due to COVID-19, our orientation programmed has moved to August 14-16. Orientation will not conflict with first year students moving into their Residence Halls. Students will meet with their advisors via video conferencing before orientation once a student has removed their holds. Advisors will reach out to students directly beginning in mid May once a student has completed all holds.

If you have questions or concerns please contact the Office of New Student Orientation at newtoUNF@unf.edu. Our staff has transitioned to work remotely in response to COVID-19, but we are actively responding to emails.

Our New Student Orientation program is designed to help you transition to UNF as a full-fledged Osprey. Through active learning and one-on-one guidance we will help you set strong social and academic foundations. Sessions include a classroom experience, academic advising, career guidance and setting learner expectations. We also plan to have some fun learning about student life, campus traditions, and first-year do's and don'ts.

It is our job to get you prepared, so write down your questions, pack your bags, and get ready for Orientation!
