Biomedical Sciences Program Frequently Asked Questions
Biomedical Sciences Program
-
What must I major in to get in a medical professional school?
Medical professional schools accept students with a broad range of majors. UNF does not advocate any particular major as the best preparation.
-
What courses must I complete to qualify for the Biomedical Pre-Professional Program?
None. The UNF Biomedical Sciences Advising Program is not an academic program. There are academic prerequisites. The UNF Biomedical Sciences Advising Program concentrates on advising and support for students seeking medical careers.
-
How do I become a part of the one of the student organizations?
Attend a meeting to see what the clubs are all about, and ask one of officers about joining the club. Or come by the Biomedical Pre-Professionals office (Building 59, Room 3300) to find out more about the clubs and sign up. Additional information is available on the Student Resources webpage.
