Out-of-State Tuition Waiver for Fellowships

The Out-of-State Tuition Waiver for Fellowships is available to eligible graduate students whose fellowship fully covers in-state tuition costs. This waiver can help reduce the cost of attending UNF for students classified as out-of-state residents. Interested applicants should speak with their Graduate Program Director for more information. 

Eligibility 

Information for eligible graduate students:

    • In accordance with university regulations, a graduate student whose in-state tuition is fully covered by a fellowship and who is, for tuition purposes, an out-of-state resident, may have their out-of-state tuition waived.
    • This tuition waiver applies only to semesters when the fellowship pays in-state tuition.
    • Submit this form for each term the waiver applies to. It will be accepted up to one month before the start of the award term, but no later than the award term's final withdrawal deadline.
    • A program director, department chair, or administrator must complete this form and send it to the Graduate School. After review and approval, the Graduate School will process the tuition waiver.
