It is the goal of the Institute of Environmental Research and Education (IERE) to support the students and faculty at UNF in the pursuit of environmental research and education. In order to accomplish this goal, the IERE relies on the generosity of donors. The IERE would like to thank each and every one of our donors for their generosity and support.

Community Council
The purpose of this Community Council is to support help the IERE build relationships with the community, support annual fundraising efforts and provide advice to the staff. Through its work, the Community Council will support students through scholarships and the development of unique programs that enhance their UNF experience. Endowments
An endowed gift to the IERE demonstrates your commitment to students and faculty at the University by creating a permanent fund that supports environmental research and education.
- River Branch Endowment: Endowed by the River Branch Foundation, this endowment supports research development grants for faculty.
- Raymond D. Bowman Endowment: Endowed by alumni Charles "Chuck" Ged, this endowment supports the development of academic programs and community collaborations.
Endowed Scholarships
- J. David Lambert Memorial Environmental Scholarship: J. David Lambert, Ph.D. is a former director and integral supporter of the Institute of Environmental Research and Education and associate professor of Geographic Information Systems in the Coggin College of Business. In recognition of Dr. Lambert's contribution to the students of UNF, a scholarship was created in his name to honor his legacy. The scholarship will be awarded to students with an expressed interest in sustainability and GIS, both topics Dr. Lambert was passionate about. Please consider supporting the J.
