The School of Communication is dedicated to the creation and dissemination of knowledge about human and mass-mediated communication processes through high-quality teaching, scholarship, and service to the community. Our communication program is accredited by the Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications.

Undergraduate Programs


We offer a B.S. in Communication, with concentrations in advertising, digital video production, multimedia journalism, and public relations. Our B.A. in Communication Studies focuses on organizational and mediated communication. Our minors include mass communication, communication studies, political campaigning, and social media.

Our M.S. in Communication Management focuses on leadership and management in the communication field. This professional master's degree allows you to customize your program of study by offering a choice of five concentrations: business, leadership, non-profit management, public management, and public health.
