The Writing Center will be closed for intersession from December 19, 2022 to January 16, 2023. All writing consultations and drop-ins will resume on January 17, 2023.

The UNF Writing Program & Center offers targeted writing consultations and workshops to support writing across many disciplines, from nursing and nutrition and dietetics to political science and public administration to engineering and building construction management and beyond. No matter your project, we're here to help you work on your writing. We offer one-on-one and group writing consultations as well as topical workshops for undergraduate and graduate students at UNF, and our staff are here to support you.

Accessibility and Accommodations

The UNF Writing Center welcomes all students and strives to support their growth as writers. Our staff works with all levels of university writers to create an inclusive, collaborative environment organized in the spirit of Universal Design.

We offer writing consultations in person at the Writing Center in Building 4, Room 2501 as well as remotely via Microsoft Teams. We realize that not all technologies are equally accessible across individuals, and we work with individuals to choose and use the best methods of communication for their purposes.

When you sign up for an appointment, please let us know what accommodations you might require so we can ensure you have the highest-quality writing consultation. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us at

Service Animals & Technology

Disabled students, faculty, and staff often employ assistance in the form of wheelchairs, canes, technology, and service animals. We recognize that these technologies are an extension of the individual and will not interact with these technologies without the disabled person's permission.
