Biomedical Sciences Research Internships

U-BRI - Undergraduate Biomedical Research Internship

This academic year-long internship opportunity is available to UNF undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students interested in careers in the medical or biomedical/ biochemical/ pharmacological research fields.  Students will gain research training in a biomedical science laboratory at the Mayo Clinic Florida under the direction of a Mayo Clinic scientist, and under the supervision of UNF faculty.  Applications are due at the end of March of each year for placement into a research lab in the following fall and spring semesters.  Successful applicants must register for credits using BSC 4941.

The Fall 2022/Spring 2023 cohort has already been selected.  Check back for information regarding applications for Fall 2023/Spring 2024.

G-BRI - Graduate Biomedical Research Internship

This internship opportunity is available to students enrolled in the MS in Biomedical Sciences degree program. Students will gain research training in a biomedical science laboratory at the Mayo Clinic Florida under the direction of a Mayo Clinic scientist, and under the supervision of UNF faculty.
