Congratulations on your admission to UNF. You're one step closer to joining the Osprey community. Use this page to complete your enrollment checklist, stay on top of important deadlines and prepare for a successful start at UNF.

1. Submit Your Admissions Deposit
Required by May 1, 2027
First-time-in-college students only
Secure your place in UNF's incoming class by submitting your admissions deposit, or deposit waiver if applicable, through your applicant portal. Completing this step early helps you stay on track as you prepare for your first semester. Your deposit will be applied to your first term bill when you register for classes and is nonrefundable.
- Log into your applicant portal.
- Select the "Home" tab.
- Under "Payment Due", select "Submit Payment".
If you change your application term, the deposit will not be credited toward the new term's bill. However, you will not need to submit another deposit.
2. Complete Residency Declaration
Required for Tuition Classification
Complete the Residency Declaration to determine whether you qualify for Florida resident tuition and ensure you are charged the correct tuition rate. All students are required to complete this step. Failure to submit the Residency Declaration may result in a higher tuition rate.
3. Log In to myWings
Available Upon Admission
Log in to myWings to access enrollment tasks, financial aid information, your UNF email and other important student resources. MyWings is your central hub for managing key enrollment steps and staying up to date throughout your transition to UNF.

4. Apply for Financial Aid
FAFSA Opens Oct. 1, 2026 | FAFSA Priority Deadline: Oct. 15, 2026 | Scholarship Priority Deadline: Jan. 15, 2027
Apply for financial aid by submitting a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year. Students who submit the 2027-28 FAFSA by Oct. 15 receive priority financial aid consideration. Students admitted for the summer 2027 term must also complete the 2026-27 FAFSA to be considered for summer financial aid.
For priority scholarship consideration, complete your admission application and any required materials by Jan. 15.

5. Submit Housing and Meal Membership Contracts
Housing Opens in November 2026
Explore the convenience of living on campus by submitting your housing contract and fee as early as possible. While living on campus is not required, housing assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis and space is limited.
Students who choose to live on campus should review housing options, rates and important deadlines. First-time-in-college students living on campus are required to purchase a meal membership.
6. Register for New Student Orientation
Registration Opens in December 2026
Prepare for your first semester by registering for New Student Orientation. Incoming first-time-in-college students are required to attend and will have the opportunity to learn about academic expectations, connect with campus resources and prepare for a successful start at UNF.

7. Explore the Hicks Honors College
Explore the Hicks Honors College for opportunities to engage in experiential learning, work closely with faculty and take part in a community of high-achieving students. The Hicks Honors College offers a unique academic experience with smaller classes and hands-on learning opportunities.
