A Message from the Director of Admissions

Greetings colleagues!

UNF is a smaller Florida public university that attracts students with strong academic profiles. Our students receive personal interactions with their professors and greater access to unique learning opportunities. We offer students hands-on transformational learning opportunities with faculty members who often do research with undergraduates. UNF students study abroad at twice the national average and visit Italy to study art, Ghana to nurse local people or Greece to study ancient peoples.

Our students' education is supplemented by Jacksonville's abundant career opportunities - from co-ops at local Fortune 500 companies, to playing with the Jacksonville Symphony, interning with the NBA or PGA leagues, or being a part of the UNF MedNexus, the first university-based healthcare nexus in the nation. UNF offers all of this and even more - I encourage you to schedule a tour or high school visit for your students so they can see this themselves.
