Celebrating 50 Years of Distinction

Dear Ospreys,

Happy 50^th Anniversary! As we celebrate this special year at the University of North Florida, I want to thank all of our alumni, faculty, staff, donors and friends who have played such an important role in the history of this remarkable university. Student success has always been the top priority at UNF, and through the years, that has never changed. Each member of our Osprey community contributes to the success of our students, and every day, we see the difference students and alumni are making here in Florida and around the world.

Joining UNF as its seventh president during this very special year is so meaningful to me. There are incredible people who have molded this university into the exceptional institution it is today, and I look forward to working with our students, faculty and staff as we embark on UNF's next chapter. Rest assured, we will stay true to the values and hallmarks that make UNF unique, while looking boldly to the future. 

I am grateful for the opportunity to lead this great university, and thank you for your warm welcome. Congratulations Osprey Nation on 50 outstanding years. UNF's future is bright, and I am truly honored to be a part of it!
