Transcript Requests

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are currently not processing in-person or "hold for pick-up" transcript requests. Please also note that Student Financial Services is no longer taking cash for payment. Transcripts cannot be ordered using cash until further notice.

Transcript requests may take up to 5-7 business days to process (please allow additional time for mailing). If you have questions concerning your UNF transcript order or issues with your transcript not having been received after two weeks please contact us at records@unf.edu.

Current and former UNF students may request an official UNF transcript online through the National Student Clearinghouse. Please note: current and former UNF students applying to the UNF Graduate School do not need to request UNF transcripts from the Registrar's Office.

Students and Alumni are encouraged to start the online ordering process in their myWings. Beginning in myWings will eliminate the need to complete the required consent form with the National Student Clearinghouse.

Ordering Transcripts from myWings:

  • Click on the Student Records tile.
  • Select Student Forms, then Records and Registration Forms.
  • Next select Request Transcripts (Online).
  • On the next page, select Transcript Service to be routed to the National Student Clearinghouse.
  • Select Order or track a transcript.

*For students who no longer have access to myWings and are unable to use the Login Help feature to reset the password, visit National Student Clearinghouse to order your transcript online.

In keeping with Florida Statute 1009.26 (17a), the University of North Florida will waive the transcript fee for a person who is active duty or an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Armed Forces and their spouse and dependents. If you believe you qualify under these categories, email us at records@unf.edu using the subject line "Military Transcript Request." You must also include applicable supporting documentation of your military affiliation.

  • When will my grades for the term be posted to my official transcript?

The date that grades are made available to students for the term and the date that grades also appear on the official transcript are listed on the academic calendar.

  • When will my degree be posted to my official transcript?
Degrees are awarded and posted to the official transcript after grade processing and final graduation certification. Once final graduation certification is complete, you will receive an email to your UNF myWings account congratulating you on earning your degree from the University of North Florida. At that time, your official UNF transcript will reflect your degree. You may place your transcript order online at mystudentcenter.org and request that the processing of your order be held until degrees post rather than immediately processed. Once your degree is conferred, we will process your transcript order.
  • When will my transcript order be processed?
Transcript orders are processed within 5-7 business days after receipt of the request. *Additional time should be allowed for mailing.
  • I have a long address. Will it fit on the order form?
Mailing addresses listed on transcript requests are limited to 30 characters per line. Four lines are available. Students requesting a transcript be mailed to a foreign address may add a fifth line.
  • If I have a hold on my account, can you still process my order?

Requests cannot be processed for students who have an outstanding financial obligation to the University or who have a student loan exit counseling requirement.

Per Florida Statute 1009.95, transcripts cannot be released for students who are in default on student loan repayment.

  • Can I include an attachment to be sent with my transcript?
Students may submit attachments to be mailed with their transcripts; however, only official documents required by the receiving institution will be included in the envelope with the transcript. Personal documents or other documents that your institution does not require you to send with a transcript will not be included in the envelope.
  • Can I view a copy of my transcript without paying for one?

Both current and former UNF students may be able to access a copy of their unofficial UNF transcript from their myWings portal. You cannot access your unofficial transcript if you have a financial hold or a student conduct hold or if you are in default on your student loan payments.

Once logged in to your account, choose the Student tab. Locate the My Records channel and select Student Self Service and then Student Records. At the top of the Student Records menu, choose Academic Transcript. Select your level (All Levels is fine) and Transcript Type (Internal) before submitting.

  • I need my transcript as soon as possible. Do you offer expedited delivery?

We offer expedited service for transcript orders for an additional $15.00 flat shipping fee. Transcripts ordered with expedited shipping will be shipped for delivery once the transcript is processed. The standard 5-7 business day processing time may still apply.

Transcripts mailed via expedited delivery cannot be sent to a P.O. Box. Orders must include a physical street address. Expedited delivery orders placed through National Student Clearinghouse that include a P.O. Box address will not be processed and will be cancelled.

  • Can you mail my transcript to a P.O. Box?
Transcripts can be mailed through regular mail to a P.O. Box. Express, or expedited, transcripts cannot be mailed to a P.O. Box.
  • My transcript needs to be sent electronically or via email. Is this an option?

The University of North Florida can only send electronic transcripts to some public colleges and Universities within the state of Florida. UNF cannot email official transcripts.
