How to check for holds in myWings:
    • Log into your myWings portal.
    • Choose "Student" on side menu

    Financial Holds

All financial obligations must be satisfied before diplomas can be released. This includes student loan exit counseling requirements. Pursuant to Florida Statute 1009.25, no individual borrower who has been determined to be in default in making legally required student loan repayments shall be furnished with his or her student records, including a diploma, until such time as the loan is paid in full or the default status has been removed.

    Graduation Survey Holds

The UNF Graduation Survey asks exiting students to share information about their experiences at UNF, their first destinations after graduating including career outcomes and continuing education plans, and experiential learning activities they completed while at UNF.

The survey is administered to graduating undergraduate and graduate students during their graduating semester at UNF. All graduating students are invited to take the survey via the Graduation Application in MyWings. After the Graduation Application closes each term, non-respondents who have applied to graduate, but who have not yet completed the survey receive email invitations with a survey link up until five weeks post-graduation.

    Loan Exit Counseling Holds

You will be required to complete Exit Counseling if you have borrowed a Federal Direct Loan at any time and if you...
    • completely withdraw from a term ("W" grades for all classes)
    • unofficially withdraw from a term (any combination of "Withdraw", "F", "Incomplete" or "Not Reported" grades for all classes)
    • enroll less than half-time in a term (less than six degree-applicable credit hours)
    • graduate
    • withdraw or drop below half-time enrollment
    • do not enroll in a term
Exit Counseling is mandatory and provides important information you need to prepare to repay your federal student loans. Failure to complete Exit Counseling may prevent the disbursement of future term financial aid and/or release of transcripts and diplomas.
