The Dean of Students Office (DOS) is here to assist you with Care Services, Student Conduct, Resolution, and Engagement. Our Office serves as the first point of contact for students, faculty, and staff when they have questions about where to go on campus for various resources. Below, we have listed our quick links for referrals and forms, information on ways to get involved with DOS, and how to contact us with any questions.
Academic Concerns
The Dean of Students Office is devoted to assessing all academic referrals by working with the student and faculty member to ensure understanding and clarity of the academic process, the alleged actions of the student, and the track outcome, whether informal or formal.
Tracks Include: Academic Expectations Meeting, Academic Integrity Mediation, Academic Administrative Hearing, Academic Violation Panel Forum.
Behavioral Concerns
The Conduct team is dedicated to reviewing incident reports, conducting investigations, and working with students to accountability regarding behavioral violations of the UNF Student Code of Conduct.
Areas Include: Investigations, Administrative Hearings, Agreed Resolutions, Panel Hearings, Appeals
Care & Support
The Care Services team offers students a safe place to land, help with administrative processes, make connections to on-campus and community resources, and provide general support for student well-being.
Areas Include: Care Services, Nesting Place, Medical Withdrawals, Medical Amnesty Program

Student Conduct Board
The Student Conduct Board (SCB) is a body of active students, faculty and staff selected by the Dean of Students to review student conduct cases. The DOS offers this unique volunteer opportunity to gain leadership experience and critical thinking skills while promoting the values of the University of North Florida, as well as, student and community expectations by serving as a member of the SCB.
