Phillip R. Burnaman Endowed Scholarship

Purpose

The purpose of the award is to provide scholarship funding for University of North Florida students.

Selection Criteria 

  1.  Students eligible for such scholarships must: 
    • Meet admissions requirements and be accepted to the University of North Florida
    • Reside in Florida for tuition purposes
    • Be full-time students taking at least 12 credit hours each semester
    • Be a declared major or intended major within the College of Arts and Sciences
    • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
    • Demonstrate financial need as defined by the University’s Office of Financial Aid
    • Be chosen by a committee established by the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences

    • Enroll full-time with at least 12 credit hours in both the Fall and Spring semesters
    • Maintain a GPA of at least 3.0 for the freshman, sophomore, junior and senior years
    • Comply with all University regulations, rules, and codes of conduct governing students on campus
    • Consent to release grades to the Division of Development and Alumni Engagement for the purpose of reporting to the Donor
    • Remain in good standing as a student
