Joyce Hellman Bizot Endowed Jazz Scholarship

Purpose

The purpose of the gift is to provide scholarship funding for students pursuing jazz studies in the School of Music at the University of North Florida.

Student Criteria 

• Meet admission requirements and be enrolled in the University of North Florida,
• Declare a major in either Jazz Performance or Jazz Education
• have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater,
• be selected by the School of Music Jazz Scholarship Committee;

Student Responsibility 

Students awarded this scholarship must also agree to: 

• be enrolled half time or more
• comply with all University regulations, rules and codes of conduct governing students on campus
• consent to release grades to the Division of Development and Alumni Engagement for the purpose of reporting to the Donor, and, 
• remain in good standing as a student
