George W. Rainbolt Art and Design Scholarship
Purpose
The purpose of the gift is to provide scholarship funding for University of North Florida students and to support the Sculpture Program.
Selection Criteria
- Students eligible for the scholarship awards must:

meet admission requirements and be accepted by the University of North Florida

reside in Florida for tuition purposes

enroll full-time with at least 12 credit hours in fall and spring semesters

complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
-
demonstrate financial need as defined by the University’s Office of Financial Aid
-
the student must be majoring within the Department of Art, Art History & Design
-
maintain a GPA of at least 2.8
- preference will be for a student who is eligible to receive Pell Grant funding
- the award winner will be selected by the Chair of the Department of Art, Art History, and Design who will consult with the faculty as needed
