Dr. Nuria Ibanez Quintana Study Abroad Scholarship
Purpose
The purpose of the award is to provide scholarship funding for University of North Florida students.
Selection Criteria
- Students eligible for such scholarships must:
- Meet admission requirements and be accepted by the University of North Florida
- Be pursuing a degree in the College of Arts and Sciences
- Be enrolled in/have taken Spanish classes at UNF
- Reside in Florida for tuition purposes
- Enroll full-time with at least 12 semester hours in the Fall and Spring semesters
- Maintain a GPA of at least 3.0
- Be selected to participate in the study abroad experience at the Universidad de Cantabria, Santander, Spain
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Demonstrate financial need as defined by the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences
- Students awarded this scholarship must also agree to:
- Study abroad at the Universidad de Cantabria, Santander, Spain
- Comply with all University regulations, rules, codes of conduct governing students on campus
- Consent to release grades to the Division of University Development and Alumni Engagement for the purpose of reporting to the Donor
- Remain in good standing as a student
