Confirmation Letter

You have been contacted by the Public Opinion Research Lab at the University of North Florida on behalf of Magnus Research. We appreciate your participation as a research participant. Only a select number of people are participating, so your commitment to join us is critically important. If you have any questions, before research day, you can reach us by calling or emailing: (904) 620–2784 / john.cashen@unf.edu    

We will call you a couple days before the trial  to confirm you will be able to attend. If you do not answer the call or call us back, you will not be added to our final attendance list.   

Key points for your reference:      

Address: The location is the Hilton Garden Inn Pensacola Airport/Medical Center, 1144 Airport Blvd, Pensacola, FL 32504. Please report to San Carlos B & C upon arrival.
Facility Phone: The telephone number is: 850 479 8900.
Date: There will be one mock jury for this case on Thursday, December 11, 2025
Time: The time that is available is 12:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
Parking/Transportation: There is no parking charge.
Payment: We pay $300.00 to participants who live in Escambia County and $325.00 to participants who live in either Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, or Walton Counties. YOU MUST ATTEND THE ENTIRE SESSION TO BE PAID.

 

 

Compensation is delivered via email using ‘Tremendous’. This version of compensation allows jurors to be paid 2-3 business days after the research day. This is an electronic payment form in which the jurors will be sent a link from Magnus that provides you with the option to select a virtual or physical Visa or choose from a list of gift cards.  If you need specific directions, please call the facility directly.  

  • Please bring a photo I.D. (either a driver’s license or state issued I.D.) with you so that we may verify your attendance.     
  • Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to register If you arrive late you will not be allowed to participate and you will not be paid.     
  • Please wear business casual attire.
  • Please don’t bring any packages, briefcases, backpacks, or large purses. Leave these items in your car or at home.
  • Out of respect for others and their allergies, please do not wear heavy perfume, cologne, etc.     

Please do not share this message with anyone. Only the people we have invited and whose names are on our list will be allowed to participate.
