Leslie Bell

Part-Time Faculty, Horn

Leslie Bell is a horn player and teacher from Alabama. During her time at The University of Alabama, Leslie competed in various horn competitions at the Southeastern Horn Workshops and placed as a finalist in the Horn Quartet competition in 2019. She continued her education at The University of Florida, where she received her master’s in music performance in 2021. While she was attending The University of Florida, she regularly played with the Gainesville Symphony Orchestra and the Ocala Symphony Orchestra as fourth horn. In August of 2021, Leslie began her doctorate in music performance at The Florida State University.

Outside of her scholastic studies, Leslie serves as the Adjunct Horn Professor at The University of North Florida, horn player in the Solasta Trio, section member of the Ocala Symphony Orchestra and as third horn for the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra. She looks forward to continuing her work as a performer and a teacher throughout Florida and surrounding states. Leslie strives to make a positive impact on all her students through her teaching and her performances.
