Brittany Fouché

Part-Time Faculty, Voice

Brittany Fouché, soprano, is a native of Florida, and she has been teaching Applied Voice, Vocal Pedagogy, and Vocal Literature at UNF since 2017. She was selected for the 2024 NATS Intern program, was the recipient of UNF’s 2020 Outstanding Adjunct Teaching award, and her singing has been recognized at the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, the New York Lyric Opera Theatre Competition, and the Beaulieu Competition.

Praised as “enchanting” (Opera Today), Brittany’s notable operatic roles include Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro), Adele (Die Fledermaus), Josephine (HMS Pinafore), and Frasquita (Carmen). Brittany has appeared on the stages of Des Moines Metro Opera, Opera Saratoga, St. Petersburg Opera, Vancouver Symphony, Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, First Coast Opera, Jacksonville Children's Chorus, Kristin Chenoweth, Bold City Opera, Music in the Woods, and St. Augustine’s Romanza Festival. As an advocate of underrepresented music and music by living composers, Brittany has recently performed works by Vally Weigl, Mason Bynes, John Mackey, and Holly Harrison, including recording the world premiere of Holly Harrison’s “And Whether Pigs Have Wings” for soprano and band with the UNF Wind Ensemble.
