Safety Week 2026 Events
Join UNF Student Government for Safety Week: Spring Break edition, from March 3rd to March 5th. Throughout the week, we’ll host events like an impaired‑driving simulation with UPD and a drink‑spiking prevention demo, along with other resources that are useful in real situations.
Safety isn’t always the most fun topic, but having the right tools and awareness can make a real difference when you find yourself in a situation where your safety is number one priority. Whether you’re staying local or traveling this spring break, we want to help you feel prepared and confident—on and off campus. Remember, SAFE > SORRY!
Commuter Day + UPD Impaired Driving Simulation
Join us Tuesday, March 3rd, from 10 AM to 1:30 PM in Osprey Plaza to enjoy lunch from your favorite food trucks as we celebrate Commuter Day! Every year, we take a day to celebrate and acknowledge all of our commuting Ospreys—near and far! Alongside Commuter Day celebrations, UPD will be hosting an Impaired Driving Simulation. Take a spin and experience just how dangerous it can be to drive under the influence. Don’t forget to pick up your Drive Safe Kit at our check-in table!
Spring Break Safety Market Days
Visit the Student Government table at Market Days on Wednesday, March 4th, from 10 AM to 1 PM at Osprey Plaza to receive Spring Break Travel Safety Kits equipped with essentials to help you stay prepared and protected over break. After all, SAFE > SORRY! Have fun, make memories, and travel smart this Spring Break!
“Lunch and Learn” Spring Break Safety Tips
Have lunch on us as we host a “Lunch and Learn Spring Break Safety Tips” in Osprey Plaza on Thursday, March 5th, from 12:30 PM to 3PM (or while supplies last) to learn how to stay safe while traveling internationally!
