Tommy Mazzella
Hazel Joseph serves as the Student Body President and head of the Executive Branch of Student Government at the University of North Florida and sits on the University’s Board of Trustees. She is an Honors student pursuing a degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics and is committed to advancing student-centered advocacy and improving the overall student experience.
Hazel has been actively involved in Student Government, previously serving as a Senator and the Budget and Allocations Chair, where she represented student interests, oversaw the multi-million-dollar Activity and Service (A&S) fee budget, and strengthened transparency and collaboration across campus. She is a member of Alpha Phi sorority, where she serves on the executive board as Vice President of Finance, overseeing budgeting and financial planning. She is also involved in Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE), the computing honor society, and Order of Omega, an all-Greek honor society recognizing academic excellence, and serves as a Greek Ambassador supporting engagement across the UNF community.
In her role as Student Body President, she works closely with the Student Body Vice President, the Board of Trustees, Student Government leaders, university administration, and campus partners to advance initiatives that enhance student engagement, expand resources, and improve the overall student experience at the University of North Florida.
Tommy Mazzella serves as the Student Body Vice President at the University of North Florida. Tommy is a Sport Management and Marketing major. He is dedicated to advocating for student needs and enhancing campus life. In his role, Tommy works closely with the Student Body President and Student Government leaders to support initiatives that improve student engagement, resources, and overall experience.
His prior experience as Director of Public Relations and Budget and Allocations Chairman has equipped him with strong leadership, communication, and financial management skills, including oversight of a multi-million-dollar student budget. Outside of Student Government, Tommy is actively involved in the Sport Management Club and Greek life leadership, and is committed to building a more connected and impactful campus community.

Student Body Treasurer
Job Description:
- Monitor all A&S fee accounts and indexes
- Oversee budget transfers and requests
- Create and present a balanced budget with approval of the Budget and Allocations Committee
- Serve as the fiscal advisor to the Budget and Allocations Committee, the Senate, and the President
- Attend weekly meetings and touchpoints with professional staff, the President, and the Executive Cabinet
- Attend events and serve at the discretion of the President
- Serve on Club Funding Board
- Serve on at least one University Wide Committee

Attorney General
Job Description:
- Serve as the Chief Executive Prosecutor
- Oversee and manage the Office of Elections
- Review and determine merit or no merit for all Election Complaints
- Review and obtain a thorough understanding of Student Government’s governing documents, policies and procedures, and Robert’s Rules of Order
- Issue legal interpretations of Student Government’s governing documents
- Attend weekly meetings and touchpoints with professional staff, the President, and the Executive Cabinet
- Attend events and serve at the discretion of the President
- Serve on multiple University Wide Committees

Student Advocate
Job Description:
- Serve as Student Government’s liaison for student complaints and guide students towards resources
- Provide defense counsel within Student Government
- Serve as the liaison to student service departments at the discretion of the President
- Coordinate University Wide Committee appointments and reporting
- Serve as an ex-officio member of the University and Student Affairs Committee
- Attend weekly meetings and touchpoints with professional staff, the President, and the Executive Cabinet
- Attend events and serve at the discretion of the President
- Serve on multiple University Wide Committees

Chief of Staff
Job Description:
- Oversee and collaborate with Executive Staff team (Deputy Chief of Staff, Public Relations, Graphic Designer, and Director of External Affairs)

Deputy Chief of Staff
Job Description:
- Collaborate with the Executive Staff team on all initiatives and student engagement efforts
- Assist the Chief of Staff with the implementation of initiatives and goals
- Coordinate activities and events geared towards in student engagement and raise awareness about Student Government activities, events, and resources
- Assist with any daily operations as needed • Attend weekly meetings and touchpoints with professional staff, the President, and Executive Staff
- Attend events and serve at the discretion of the President

Director of Public Relations
- Manage Student Government social media accounts in collaboration with Professional Staff
- Manage public relations and branding for Student Government, including interactions with Spinnaker Media in collaboration with Professional Staff
- Oversee public records request in collaboration with Professional Staff and General Counsel’s Office
- Develop communication strategies for new initiatives to engage with students and raise awareness about Student Government
- Collaborate with the Graphic Designer regarding graphics and branding
- Attend weekly meetings and touchpoints with professional staff, the President, and Executive Staff
- Attend events and serve at the discretion of the President
- Serve on multiple University Wide Committees

Director of Graphic Design
Job Description:
- Create original graphic designs for Student Government in consultation with the Director of Public Relations, Chief of Staff, and Professional Staff
- Identify new initiatives to engage with students and raise awareness about Student Government
- Attend weekly meetings and touchpoints with professional staff, the President, or Designee
- Attend events and serve at the discretion of the President
- Serve on multiple University Wide Committees

Osprey Involvement Center
Osprey Involvement Center is the hub of involvement at UNF. It's a tool to aid in club workshops, involvement coaching, leadership development, and various other services that are all aimed at building community.
Lend-A-Wing Pantry
The Pantry is staffed by UNF students for UNF students; dedicated to serving the basic needs of the students at the University of North Florida. Items may include food and hygienic supplies, provided anonymously and at no cost to the student. Through this service we help foster continued academic success and increase retention for students in need.Lend-A-Fit
Lend-A-Fit provides students with business professional outfits at no cost in order to build students' wardrobe as they prepare for interviews and workplace dress codes. This service encourages vocational development combined with academic nourishment.
Osprey Student Conduct Advisors
As an Executive Agency of the University of North Florida Student Government, the Osprey Student Conduct Advisors (OSCA) shall enhance the overall student conduct process to provide students with the information they are afforded as members of the UNF community. OSCA as an agency promotes knowledge, provides awareness of ethical conduct standards and the student conduct process, overall improving the student conduct relationship and facilitating an environment that develops trust between the advisors and students.
