Johnathan Rockey Memorial History Scholarship

Purpose

The purpose of this fund is to support undergraduate scholarships for College of Arts & Sciences students.

Selection Criteria 

  1.  Students eligible for such scholarships must:
    • Meet admission requirements and be accepted by the University of North Florida
    • Have completed 60 or more cumulative academic credit hours
    • Have declared a major in History
    • Be selected with input from faculty in the Department of History
  2. Students awarded this scholarship must also agree to:
    • Maintain a GPA of at least 3.25
    • Maintain 9 or more credit hours per semester
    • Comply with all University regulations, rules, codes of conduct governing students on campus
    • Consent to release grades to the Division of University Development and Alumni Engagement for the purpose of reporting to the donor
    • Remain in good standing as a student

Current recipients are eligible for renewal and will be given preference pending availability of funding and if all of the preceding requirements have been met. No student will be eligible to receive more than five semesters of scholarship support.
