Ensures Effectiveness and Focus of the Board Committee

• Serves as the Presiding Officer of the Board Committee
• Sets the Agenda for Board Committee meetings, in consultation with the President
• Attends all Board Committee meetings
• Conducts efficient, inclusive Board Committee meetings
• Focuses the Board Committee’s agenda on mission and strategy
• Engages Board Committee members in substantive strategic discussions
• Facilitates communication among Board Committee members at public meetings
• Demonstrates exemplary ethical leadership
• Treats Board Committee members with respect
