UNF receives Congressional appropriation for improved IT infrastructure

A congressional directed appropriation in the amount of $750,000 to support a much-needed virtual cloud computing and cybersecurity infrastructure initiative has been awarded to UNF. The appropriation will address the need to create a scalable secure learning and research environment for UNF students, faculty and staff. It helps to provide a consistent set of tools, software, security, and level of interactivity with faculty during their academic career at UNF.

Campus Internet Upgrade

Information Technology Services (ITS) is pleased to announce the completion of a months-long project to upgrade UNF’s connection to the Internet. The result of this upgrade is that Internet network speeds increased from 10Gbps to 100Gbps. The work was completed in January 2023  and will deliver many benefits to the UNF community.
