Interim Vice President and Chief Information Officer

Megan Kuehner serves as the Interim Vice President and Chief Information Officer at the University of North Florida. With over fifteen years of experience in higher education administration, she oversees the comprehensive suite of integrated applications and tools that support and manage various business processes across the university. Megan strives to ensure that key initiatives align with institutional priorities, support student success and operational efficiency. She is dedicated to enhancing the academic experience through strategic planning and active stakeholder engagement. Megan holds a Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Florida

Clay Maddox

Assistant Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer

Clay Maddox serves as the Assistant Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer for the University of North Florida, where he provides executive leadership for the University’s information security and cyberinfrastructure programs. He has 25 years of experience in higher education information technology, with a career at UNF that has spanned progressive leadership roles in cybersecurity, networking, and enterprise infrastructure. In his role as CISO, he is responsible for protecting the University’s data, systems, and intellectual property while advancing a security strategy aligned with UNF’s academic and research mission. Committed to public service, Clay also supports cybersecurity awareness and workforce development initiatives that strengthen both the University and the broader Northeast Florida community.

Chris Petrello

Chris Petrello is an enterprise support expert and information technology professional. He has guided his career by the phrase "I'm here to help". Chris believes that success in technology begins with people. Throughout his career, Chris has focused on connecting people and technology to support them in performing their work and achieving their goals. Chris has been successful at multiple levels of technology leadership and is a creative problem solver, effective leader, and trusted partner. Prior to joining UNF, Chris worked in the Financial and Public Education sectors. Chris earned his bachelor's degree from Flagler College and his master's degree from Valdosta State University.

Shared Technology Infrastructure & Services

Jason Jones is the Assistant Vice President of Shared Technology Infrastructure and Services at the University of North Florida. With over a decade of experience in higher education technology, he is responsible for the university’s technical infrastructure, technical platforms, and business applications. His leadership ensures that data operations, business applications, and cloud and on-premises infrastructure align with institutional goals to support administrative, instructional, research, and outreach activities. Jason is committed to leveraging technology to improve the student experience. He believes that taking care of people ensures mission success and prioritizes solutions that make processes easier, faster, and more transparent.
