UNF: November 24 Banner Modernization

Banner, the system accessed through myWings that you use to view grades, check financial aid, submit appeals, and manage other important student information, is getting an upgrade. The update will bring a modern, user-friendly design that makes it easier to find what you need. The way you access Banner will stay the same, and we’re taking steps to keep the transition as smooth as possible. Some forms and functions will move to different systems, but everything will remain easy to access from one central location.

WHAT IS CHANGING?

The Banner upgrade will take place on November 24. During this time, the system will be updated to the new design, but students will still be able to complete important tasks without interruption. Course registration will not be affected, and you can continue to register, add, or drop classes as usual.

New Look & Feel

When you log in after the upgrade, you’ll notice a refreshed look and feel. The new Banner dashboard features a modern design that organizes menu items in a clean, easy-to-navigate layout. All your key links and tools are now grouped in one convenient place, making it simpler to find what you need and manage your student information.

The table below lists items affected and not affected by this change. Note that items that are "changing" will just receive an updated look and feel, but will still be accessible through the one location.
