CAP and CAS Forms
CAP – Chapter Accreditation Plan
The Chapter Accreditation Plan (CAP) is a tool that helps fraternity and sorority chapters evaluate their performance and impact. Through CAP, each chapter reviews its work in areas like academic achievement, leadership development, risk management, and community service. This annual review encourages chapters to meet high standards and continually improve their operations.
CAS – Council Assessment Standards
The Council Assessment Standards (CAS) provide a way to evaluate the leadership and effectiveness of each governing council: the Interfraternity Council (IFC), Panhellenic Council, National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC), and Multicultural Greek Council (MGC). CAS helps councils reflect on how well they support their chapters, promote shared values, and build community.
At the University of North Florida, CAP and CAS are part of our commitment to fostering a meaningful and accountable fraternity and sorority experience. These evaluations help chapters and councils grow, identify areas for improvement, and celebrate excellence.
