JANUARY

Fraternal Leadership Institute (FLI)

OFSL kicks off the year by hosting the Fraternal Leadership Institute for all council executive board officers; a multi-day retreat where undergraduate leaders will examine their practices, strategically plan for the future, and together goal set for the year.

MARCH

Greek Leadership Conference (GLC)

Greek Leadership Conference is a day-long event hosted for our chapter and council officers.  Much like a traditional conference set-up, keynote speakers are contracted to work alongside our students, as well as track or topic-specific facilitators.  The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life annually adjusts which officers are required to attend GLC to ensure that the right individuals are receiving the information provided at the event. 

Greek Week

Held every spring semester, Greek Week is a week-long celebration of being a part of the fraternity and sorority community at UNF.  Greek Sync, a lip syncing and dance competition, serves as the highlight of the week and though other events are subject to change from year to year, the one thing that remains consistent is the promotion of council collaboration and fellowship.

Greek Awards

The fraternity and sorority community prides itself on having high standards of participation and membership, as well as a commitment to our five pillars. To recognize chapters that go above and beyond in demonstrating a commitment towards excellence in these categories, the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life hosts the Greek Awards at the conclusion of Greek Week.

JULY

Summer Splash

To welcome our summer students, the Greek Ambassadors proudly host Summer Splash on campus.  This event allows for fraternity and sorority members to meet and have fun with summer students, all while enjoying free food, music, and time spent at the UNF Clubhouse.

Institute for Onboarding & Training Advisors (IOTA)

Training our chapter advisors annually is important, and our Institute for Onboarding & Training Advisors allows the OFSL staff to provide our volunteers with University updates and training, share goals and ideas to advance the fraternal experience at UNF, and foster a strong sense of collaboration.

AUGUST

Greek Summit

Greek Summit is hosted prior to the beginning of the fall semester and serves as a half-day informational event in which OFSL staff reviews all yearly expectations, provides updates for the academic year, and facilitates risk management training.  Similar to Greek Leadership Conference, OFSL adjusts which chapter officers are required to attend Greek Summit. 

Meet & Greek

Interested in meeting all of UNF’s fraternities and sororities while enjoying free food and music?  We invite all students to join our chapters at Meet & Greek, held on the first Monday of the fall semester.  This Week of Welcome event kicks off the new year with a fantastic way to make new friends and connect to the University.
