Cost of Attendance at UNF

Financial aid awards are based on an estimated nine-month (Fall & Spring term) cost of attendance. This is constructed based on five components as designed by federal regulations. Estimated cost of attendance is based on 15 credit hours for undergraduate students and nine credit hours for graduate students. After registration, two cost of attendance components: Books & Supplies and Tuition will adjust based on term enrollment. For less than half-time enrollment, adjusted cost of attendance will consist of the Books & Supplies, Transportation and Tuition components. In accordance with federal regulations, exceptions may be exercised to include Room and Board COA components for eligible students enrolled less than half-time. In general, your financial aid may not exceed the cost of attendance, although, your actual costs may vary.

  • Direct Costs:
    • Tuition and Fees (based on residency status and term enrollment)
    • Books and Supplies (based on term enrollment)
    • Room and Board (based on if you are living with a relative/parent, on campus or off campus)
  • Indirect Costs:
    • Miscellaneous
    • Transportation
